Dry Needling in Falkirk

Trigger points are tight, tender knots in muscle. In dry needling, a fine needle is placed into the knot. I’m Stephen Thornton, a neuromuscular therapist with 14 years’ experience, based at Ochilview Therapies in Reddingmuirhead, Falkirk.

What to expect: I assess the area first, then needle the points that matter. It can feel like a brief twitch or dull ache, which settles quickly. You may be a little sore the next day, and I’ll explain how to look after the area. A session lasts 45 minutes and costs £45.
