Neuromuscular Therapy in Falkirk

Neuromuscular therapy (NMT) is a hands-on treatment that works on the soft tissues of the body, with a focus on trigger points: the tight, tender knots in muscle. I’m Stephen Thornton, a neuromuscular therapist with 14 years’ experience, based at Ochilview Therapies in Reddingmuirhead, Falkirk.

I use a mix of soft tissue release, strain counter-strain, positional release and muscle energy techniques, chosen to suit what your body is telling me. NMT is often combined with dry needling or Kinetic Chain Release, and I’ll explain which combination I’d suggest after your consultation.

What to expect: every visit starts with a conversation about what’s bothering you, so I can focus the treatment where it’s needed. A session lasts an hour and costs £55.
